It's okay to feel angry sometimes, but hitting others isn't okay. There are safe and appropriate ways to handle anger. Recognizing angry feelings is the first step towards handling anger. You are in charge when you're able to ?catch? your angry feelings. Give yourself a chance to cool off, walk away from an angry situation, or take part in a physical activity to control angry feelings and get rid of anger. You can also talk about angry feelings to a friend or grown up you trust.
